Philly in the veins

In Philly for an event or just happen to be passing by? Ok....then you have to stop @ either Jims Steaks on South Street, or Nicks Roast Beef in South Philly. This is real Philly flavor. The cheesesteak with "wiz & onions" and the carved Roastbeef with provolone cheese, dripping with delicious gravy and it's own natural juices. The two best sandwiches this side of any side!













There will never be a professional sports team that has had as much impact on me like the 1980 Philadelphia Phillies.

This team brought so much heart and soul to the game. "Shake & Bake" Mcbride, "The Secretary Of Defense" Maddux, "The Bull" Luzinski.......etc.

Too bad the community in which I resided at the time, suffered a black-out right before "The Tugger" threw the last few pitches to close out the final momments of the 1980 World Series.
